At The Corbridge Condiment Company, we want every order to arrive safely and for you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to put it right.

The Corbridge Condiment Company is the trading name and brand of The Tyne Valley Trading Company Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15154259.


Returns

You have 14 days after receiving your order to contact us if you wish to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

• unopened;
• unused;
• fully sealed;
• in their original packaging;
• in a saleable condition; and
• accompanied by proof of purchase.

For food safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of food products that have been opened, unsealed, used, damaged after delivery, or otherwise handled in a way that means they cannot be resold.

This does not affect your statutory rights if an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrectly supplied.


How to Request a Return

To request a return, please contact us first at:

Please include your order number, name, contact details and the reason for the return.

Please do not send items back to us without contacting us first. Items returned without prior contact may not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we will confirm the return address and provide instructions for sending the item back.


Return Postage

For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

We recommend using a tracked or proof-of-postage service, as we cannot refund items that are not received back by us.

If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrectly supplied, please contact us before returning it. In those circumstances, we will arrange an appropriate solution and, where a return is required, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.


Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if an item is damaged, faulty, not as described, or if you have received the wrong item.

Where possible, please include your order number and photographs of the product, packaging and any damage. This helps us resolve the issue quickly.

If your item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrectly supplied, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, refund or other solution depending on the circumstances.


Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, we will refund you using your original payment method.

For eligible change-of-mind returns, we will refund the cost of the returned item and any standard outbound delivery charge where required by law. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, we only refund the cost of standard delivery.

We may reduce the refund if an item has been handled beyond what is necessary, damaged after delivery, or returned in a condition that means it cannot be resold, except where the item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrectly supplied.

Refunds are usually processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.


Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

• food products that have been opened, unsealed or used;
• items damaged after delivery because of handling, storage or misuse;
• products without proof of purchase;
• personalised, custom or special-order items, unless faulty; or
• gift cards, if offered.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.  As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.  You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.  If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.  Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.  If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at contact@corbridgecondiments.com.
